Great vet. Staff was super helpful. The vet was great with my cat. We recently moved from another state and he was able to keep my cat on the right path and suggest some other things needed (which was also stated by other vet). Getting appointment was easy and was able to get my dog in the next week too.

Dr. Matt and staff have been outstanding to our dogs and family for the past 8 years. When we had to make the tough decision to let our golden retriever go, he was gentle and reassuring with the process and made sure I was at as much ease as I could have been given the circumstances. Omaha/Elkhorn is extremely lucky to have such a caring practice available to us.

We’ve been visiting this clinic with our dogs for years but my last visit has made me (or my pets, more accurately) a patient here for life. I lost my mom and had to make the difficult decision to put her dog down the same week. Dr. Matt was the kindest and most supportive vet. He talked to me about the dog and my mom and was so relatable about his own experiences. I am so terribly sad about putting my mama’s sweet old dog down but am beyond grateful to have had Dr. Matt there for it. He even sent me a personal condolence card. It’s a busy clinic, he didn’t have to do that but he did. I will never forget his kindness. He’s a great vet too and has been great with my own dogs for their checkups. Dr. Sam is also terrific, my kids love it when we get her because has such a fun way about her and includes them where she can. The office staff and vet techs are always helpful and nice.

I can not say enough good stuff about this place period. We have a Brittany that developed something that paralyzed him, and Doctor Scott knew what to do and treated it. It was something that otherwise we would have had to go down to Kansas and would have cost thousands of dollars. They absolutely treat all of our baby's like their own. Their staff is absolutely incredible. Always remember our babies when we bring them in. They have gone through so much with us with our different fur babies. I would recommend this location to any and all that have a fur baby. They treat them like their own. I can't say enough good stuff about them. They have always taken care of us and even squeezed us in if it's dire just so they get taken care of. We had a Bichapoo who had diabetes and was blind. He lived a long life strictly because of them. They were very aggressive in finding out what needed to be done for him and then gently treated him for the rest of his days. Our rescue Brittany has anxiety, but loves going to see. They are a clinic that cares about your babies.They're not in it to get rich.They're in it to take care of your babies. You can tell when someone cares, and they do. They call you every step of the way when they are treating them. They even do follow-up calls to see how they are doing.

Our sweet Dachshund, who had yet to turn two, began having stomach issues in early Dec. Dr Matt saw and treated him with kindness and got him on some antibiotics and other helpful meds. He improved for a couple of weeks but then went down hill right after Christmas. I was able to go pick up some more antibiotics after calling the main line to get him through the weekend until Dr Matt was back on Tuesday. This, however, turned out to be the wrong move and by Sunday he was in bad shape as his infection had spiraled out of control (unknown to me). Monday we got right in to see Dr. Scott. He immediately assessed how dire the situation was and listened to our fears about his medical status and financial concerns. We were able to leave our pup in the kind care of Dr. Scott and all the vet techs during the day and were able to bring him home at night. They did everything they could to treat his sepsis and liver issues and keep him comfortable and cared for while I couldn’t be with him. Thanks to their care I was able to spend a last few precious days with him. Even though he had some improvements through the week, that Thursday evening his condition had deteriorated so badly that we took him into an Urgent Care clinic and got him a little bit of hospice care to last through the night. I didn’t want him to pass away in an unfamiliar place without his family. I called Millard West as soon as they opened and they made time to squeeze us in for euthanasia that morning due to how bad he was and we were able to be with him at the end as he passed. My children and husband were able to be with me while I said goodbye. I will always be filled with guilt and remorse for how this played out, but the kindness, compassion, and care my baby received, and our family while we were in shambles, meant the world to me. They provided us with a keepsake paw print after his passing, we had him cremated, and they sent a little card in the mail saying how sorry they were for our loss. I want to

Matt and his staff by far are the best people to care for your pets. They care about them and you, and treat you like you are family. Matt goes above and beyond that a normal vet would not do. Thank you for being there.

Millard West has been my vet for nearly 20 years. Dr. Matt was very compassionate when we had to put my dog Xavier to sleep He was helpful when I called late about my other dog who had cancer and passed the next day after his long battle. He helped me work through geriatrics and finally end of life with my cat. He gave great care with my new puppies that came after that and another cat. He has supported me after I started my dog training business (FidelityK9). Everyone knows no business is perfect and no employee is going to represent a business as well as they should because we all have bad days but now that I started a dog training business 10 nearly 10 years ago I have found Millard vet care to be generally exceptional through all the years and countless client dogs and my staff dogs. I could go on and on about how Dr. Matt stayed late and saved the life of one of my staff dogs. Dr Scott was there for a compassionate and hard euthanasia of another staff dog. It's more important to understand that I was just a normal client when we first met. It wasn't until later that I became influential in a parallel industry and yet I have found good quality care from beginning to end.
